The Monroe Trust Artist Collective is thrilled to partner with Washington DC artist, Glenn Fry. Fry’s creative visual execution taps deep into the folds of our minds with his keen sense of composition and iconography. His ability to blend seemingly inconsequential elements to directly communicate with people of all types allows his work to resonate with a broad community.
.A creator of imaginative screen prints, Glenn controls every element to produce captivating images. He illustrates and conveys his viewpoint of what’s “important” in each piece through multiple layers of detail and text. Working from a theme of his choosing, Glenn selects, poses, and photographs his models; converts, enhances, and processes the images; incorporates iconic elements; designs the color application; writes the text..then prints each piece by hand.
Following his formal art education at Edinboro University of PA, Glenn got his start in advertising. But unlike our favorite “Mad Men”, he decided to use his talent for good, leaving the corporate machine behind and pursuing a career in fine arts.
